SUMMARY:Hands on History: Weaving a Wall Hanging
DESCRIPTION:Join Art Jam and have a go learning the ancient craft of weaving.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor adults \nWeaving is one of our most ancient human practices that is still alive to this day. People of all ages and backgrounds are naturally drawn to this relaxing process\, which can be used in so many different projects. In this workshop you will learn how to weave using a simple loom that you can easily make at home. Choose from a gorgeous array of yarns and wools\, and even add beads\, tassels\, and natural items to your piece\, to create a wall hanging that is uniquely yours. \nNo skills or experience required\, all materials provided \nBookings are essential. If you cannot register for a ticket online\, please contact the library on (08) 9477 7150 for assistance. \nPlease note: \n\nDo not attend if unwell.\nIf you cannot make it to the event\, we strongly encourage you to cancel your ticket to ensure your spot is allocated to someone on our waitlist.
