SUMMARY:Community clean up - Keep Australia Beautiful Week
DESCRIPTION:Every August\, for over 50 years\, Keep Australia Beautiful (KAB) have been educating Australians about litter\, waste and other key environmental issues throughout KAB Week. \nJoin the City and participate in a community clean-up to help keep our beautiful spaces litter free. \n \nEvent details (meeting point is at the picnic table near the Ninja Course – look for the City of Joondalup signage): \n\n8.30am – welcome (register\, meet and greet\, collect equipment)\n8.40am – commence litter collection (park\, coastal path and beach)\n9.30am – return to meeting point and separate litter (for auditing)\n10.15am – refreshments.\n\n \nAll equipment will be provided for participants – gloves\, buckets\, bags\, litter pickers\, first aid kit\, sharps container etc. \n \nPlease bring with you: \n\nwater bottle\nreusable coffee cup\nweather appropriate clothing\nenclosed shoes.
