WA Day Festival
THE FREE WA DAY FESTIVAL IS BACK AT BURSWOOD PARK FOR 2021! Let’s celebrate what makes our State great this WA Day long weekend on Sunday 6 and Monday 7 June. The last 18 months, we’ve all spent a lot of time at home. But now’s the time to get out and celebrate our bigger home, and everything that makes Western Australia so great! The FREE WA Day Festival is back and it’s better than ever, with something for everyone to enjoy. Keep the kids entertained for hours with our family fun. There’s an inflatable playground for the kids, loads of amusement rides including a ferris wheel and tea cups, an arts & crafts village, cuddly animals at our petting zoo, gold panning with Perth Mint and the annual WA Day mascot race.
Foodies will be in absolute heaven with Perth’s biggest and best international food truck line-up representing the State’s melting pot of cultures. Eat Street will be serving up insta-worthy food from mouth-watering burgers, falafel and chips, to artisan chunky cookies, bao buns and fish tacos.
We have an immersive science zone from Scitech featuring robots, coding and hands-on activities, thrilling waterski displays on the Swan and Air Force flyovers. You can also sit back and chill out with a local wine or beer while watching live music on our new Lotterywest Stage featuring acoustic sessions, Fringe acts and family entertainment. Finish the fun by enjoying a spectacular fireworks display above our Swan River at 6pm on both nights.
WA Day in Bunbury 2021
Sunday 6th June, 10am to 2pm.
Bring the family down to Stirling Street Arts Centre in Bunbury for a day of free entertainment. There’s going to be loads of live entertainment including local bands, kids’ craft activities and games, market stalls, cultural experiences and delicious food to enjoy from local food trucks. A Good Day in WA – WA Day Festival 2021
We are thrilled to announce the hugely renown WA Day Festival returns to the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour and Bathers Beach on Sunday 6 June 2021!
Join us for a day of celebration of our Western Australian community. A time to come together to celebrate, share and value cultural diversity.
A cultural explosion featuring world heritage and culture, music, dance, cuisine and arts showcasing the rich cultures that collectively represent our truly unique Western Australian community.
The sounds of a Motown show, a salute to Bon Scott and AC/DC band will generate a party atmosphere at Mews Park. Glamorous fashion parades, a latin carnivale, the renown Irish Riverdance, fiery Tarantellas and exhilarating Can Can dancers will ignite the stage, exciting Dragon and Lion Dancing, and so much more to be experienced!
A family friendly, free entry event commencing at 11am through to 6.00pm.

Yaolin Dragon Dance WA Day Festival 2021
We are thrilled to announce that the internationally acclaimed Yaolin Kung Fu Association led by 7th Generation Pak Mei Master Ken Wu from the Cheung Bing Lam lineage, will be performing at the WA Day Festival 2021!
Sunday 6 June 2021 at Mews Park, Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour.
Electrifying and highly skilled performances of the ancient traditions of the Dragon Dance and ancient drumming will create excitement and energy in the colourful and festive atmosphere of WA Day Festival Fremantle.

Walking Trails Treasure Hunt WA Day Festival 2021

Follow the pink Andre the Cray trail markers around Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour where you will experience lots of great activities!
