SUMMARY:'Sleep\, Exile and Renewal' by David Ledger
DESCRIPTION:In this body of work\, David Ledger creates imagined landscapes where fragments of architecture emerge from dense vegetation and shifting terrain. Temples\, stairways\, monuments\, and interior spaces appear suspended between memory and imagination\, forming environments that feel both familiar and otherworldly. \nThese are not depictions of specific places\, but symbolic spaces that reflect on time\, impermanence\, and human presence. \nOn display at the Rockingham Arts Centre from Wednesday 16 September to Sunday 4 October. The gallery is open from 10am – 12.30pm and 1pm – 4pm\, Wednesday to Sunday.

Each piece is based on scenes and moments I have personally observed and captured in nature. Through colour\, texture\, and light\, the artworks aim to celebrate the landscapes\, atmosphere\, and details that often go unnoticed in our everyday surroundings. The exhibition invites visitors to connect with nature through a personal artist perspective.
