DESCRIPTION:In this body of work\, David Ledger creates imagined landscapes where fragments of architecture emerge from dense vegetation and shifting terrain. Temples\, stairways\, monuments\, and interior spaces appear suspended between memory and imagination\, forming environments that feel both familiar and otherworldly.  \nThese are not depictions of specific places\, but symbolic spaces that reflect on time\, impermanence\, and human presence. \nOn display at the Rockingham Arts Centre from Wednesday 16 September to Sunday 4 October. The gallery is open from 10am – 12.30pm and 1pm – 4pm\, Wednesday to Sunday.

Spend the rest of the day experiencing Scottish market stalls\, highland dancing\, bagpipe competitions\, meet and greet Scottish dogs and watch the hotly contested heavy events competitors as they show us just how incredibly strong they are. \nLet your imagination run wild in the medieval fair\, learn about your ancestry in the Clan Village\, and then kick up your heels with live music and Ceilidh dancing. \nThis event is brought to you by the City of Armadale and is alcohol\, smoke and vape free. The Armadale Highland Gathering and the Perth Kilt run is held in October each year.
