Be Connected – Smartphone basics course for beginners
Learn the basics of how to use a smartphone, including how to navigate your device, accessing basic apps, searching the Internet and using email.
This short course is suitable for adults who are beginner level only (you will be learning basic digital skills).
Bookings are essential as places are limited and you must commit to attending all five sessions.
Date: Fortnightly on Wednesdays (from Wednesday 27 July to Wednesday 21 September 2022)
Time: 1.00pm – 2.30pm (please arrive by 12.50pm for a prompt 1.00pm start)
Venue: Stirling Libraries – Dianella, Waverley Street, Dianella WA 6059
Tea and coffee will be provided: Attendees are encouraged to BYO reusable coffee cup.
What to bring: Please bring your own device (smartphones only).

Be Connected programs are funded by Good Things Foundation and the Australian Government Department of Social Services. Participants’ contact details will be added to the Good Things Network: Be Connected Learning Management System. The details will be used for tracking your progress against funded learning programmes run by Good Things Foundation, reporting and improving products in line with their privacy policy. They will be shared between Stirling Libraries, Good Things Foundation and The Australian Government Department of Social Services. Your details will never be sold on to any other third parties.

No, you must commit to attending all five sessions. The content is progressive, so each new session builds on what you have learnt in the previous session.
