Join in for this 3 Week series to learn the art of friendship in a warm, welcoming, inclusive group.
In this 3 week series learn the art of friendship in a welcoming group, where you’ll be guided in
discussions, and reflections, and be provided with conversation prompts to help
in honing your interpersonal communication skills.
You will practice the art of being both a compassionate listener and speaker, as
you explore particular friendship conversation prompts to help in sparking new,
or reinvigorating, old friendships.
WEEK 2
Interpersonal Communication Skills – Facilitated by Befriend
Thursday 19 October, 10 – 11.30am at Armadale Library
Explore mindsets that support quality open and generous
conversations. Be guided in the art of mindful interpersonal
communication where you’ll learn how to be present and
responsive rather than reactive. Learn about the art of
welcoming, friendly body language vs the body language
queues that may signal ‘do not approach’.
These sessions are for adults.
