SUMMARY:Distinguished Gentleman's Ride 2026
DESCRIPTION:On the morning of Sunday\, 17th of May\, over 500 exceptionally well-dressed\, dapper gentlefolk will converge on Elizabeth Quay astride their vintage\, custom and classic styled motorcycles for the starting point of the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride – a global charity ride raising much needed funds for Men’s Mental Health and Prostate Cancer Research on behalf of Movember. \nNow in its 15th year\, the DGR occurs in over 1000 cities across the world on the same day. Around $85m has been raised for men’s health since it’s inception. Lore has it\, the concept for DGR was actually conceived right here in Perth! \n1 in 6 men will receive a Prostate Cancer diagnosis in their lifetime. And every single day\, 7 Australian men commit suicide. These numbers are far too high\, and the battle too tough to manage alone. Early intervention and on-going support are paramount if we are to see a reduction in these figures. United\, we ride together. \nThe general public is welcome and encouraged to come on down and enjoy a veritable smorgasbord of beautiful motorcycles\, live music\, and an impressive skydiving display right into Elizabeth Quay! \nIf you ride an appropriately styled motorcycle\, and would like to partake in the Gentleman’s Ride\, you must register – please do so at www.gentlemansride.com. Alternatively\, if you’d simply like to make a valued donation\, please visit: https://gentlemansride.com/donate \nVisit Website
