SUMMARY:A Streetcar Named Desire
DESCRIPTION:Roleystone Theatre presents 'A Streetcar Named Desire'\, a classic play that explores characters desperately holding on to what they need while everything around them falls apart. \nThe show explores the interplay between the main characters of Blanche DuBois\, who goes to visit her sister Stella\, and Stella’s husband Stanley who doesn’t trust Blanche… and the feeling is mutual. \nWritten and directed to find the emotional truth of every moment\, it's messy\, heartbreaking\, sometimes uncomfortable\, and deeply human. It's still incredibly relevant today\, despite being a 'classic' that premiered in 1947. \nRecommended for ages 15+. Content warnings: physical and verbal violence\, racism and adult themes.
