DESCRIPTION:Come along to this FREE 8 week chair yoga program!Each Friday afternoon you will be joined by accredited yoga instructor Diane Jones who will take you through one hour of chair yoga. \nYoga has been shown to increase strength and balance\, and to help reduce the risk of falls. Bringing together wildlife experiences\, guided nature walks\, hands-on activities\, local environmental groups\, art and community connection\, it’s a fantastic day of discovery for all ages. \nVisitors will have the opportunity to be among the first to explore recent improvements to the Henderson Environmental Centre\, including landscape enhancements\, new educational signage\, public artwork and building upgrades. \nFestival highlights include: \n• Guided walks through Star Swamp \n• Interactive animal encounters \n• Wetland science activities \n• Children’s bushcraft sessions \n• Community environmental displays \n• Face painting \n• Garden art installations \n• A Nature Passport adventure. \nRide\, Walk\, Win!\nLeave the car at home and travel to NatureFest by bike\, scooter or on foot for your chance to win a $100 voucher from 99 Bikes. With limited parking available\, choosing active transport is the easiest way to get to the event while doing something good for yourself and the environment. \nImportant information\nWe’re currently putting the finishing touches on the full festival program. A detailed event schedule\, including walk times\, activities and special presentations\, will be released by the end of September.
