SUMMARY:Meet the Author - Holly Craig
DESCRIPTION:From the bestselling author of The Shallows and The Rip comes a terrifying survivalist thriller as two sisters navigate the eerie Tasmanian wilderness\, perfect for fans of Jane Harper and Yellowjackets. \nJoondalup Libraries and Dymocks Karrinyup are delighted to host an evening with Australian author Holly Craig. Holly will be in conversation with fellow author Deb Jordan about her latest novel Find Me. \nAbout the book – Find Me \nThree years missing. When Pete vanished into the rugged wilderness of Tasmania’s Abel mountains\, it only took a few weeks for the official search to be called off. He’d been warned\, they said. Mount Mercy takes people. \nTwo sisters searching. Brought together by their mother’s dying wish to find their brother once and for all\, estranged sisters\, Hallie and Gertie\, head back to Mount Mercy. Their first step: to find the Peakers\, an isolated and mysterious commune\, who were the last people to see Pete alive. \nThe truth they may not survive. It doesn’t take long for the sisters’ desperate hunt for answers to become a terrifying fight for their own survival. The Peakers are hiding something. Something deadly… \nAbout The Author \nHolly Craig lives on the Western Australian coast. She spent her childhood on boats and on Rottnest Island\, inspiring her second novel The Rip\, and her debut #1 bestselling novel\, The Shallows. She is also the author of the Audible original Mayday. The beach and river were her playground and shaped the settings in her stories. Holly is an English teacher and now teaches adults how to write their novels\, preparing their manuscripts for publication through The Write Club. \nThis event is supported by Dymocks Karrinyup who will be selling Find Me and Holly will be available for book signing. \nFor further information on this event please call the City on 9400 4751.
