This will be a fantastic chance to slow down\, switch off\, and soak up our beautiful natural surroundings\, all guided by an experienced facilitator. It’ll also be a meaningful way to practise mindfulness\, and experience the natural bushland from a deeper perspective! Please note: The nature connection session is best suited for ages 15+\, as there are some longer\, quiet reflection moments that can be a bit tricky for younger kids. \nThe meeting location is in Lizard Park Reserve opposite 85 Litchfield Cir\, Wandi. Please follow the signs. Please wear clothing appropiate for the weather and walking through the bush\, including long sleeves and enclosed shoes. \nRegistration is essential. \nThis event is immediately following the Urban Shade Maintenance Day at Lizard Reserve. It is recommended to attend the maintenance event beforehand to get the full experience and help build your connection to nature before this session. You will need to register for both events separately. \nThis event is delivered in partnership with Conservation Volunteers Australia through CVA’s Urban Shade Forest initiative.
