No experience needed – just bring your energy and enthusiasm! Perth Scorchers players* will be there to share tips and cheer the kids on as they learn the basics of bowling\, batting\, fielding\, and wicket keeping. \nPlus\, Honeycomb Park will be buzzing with FREE family activities including: \n🏏 Perth Scorchers Photobooth \n🎧 Silent Disco \n🤸‍♂️ Toddler Play Area \nBut that’s not all… \n🍕 Cricket Workshop participants get FREE pizza and ice cream! \nRegistrations close Sunday 11 January 2026 and spots are limited – so be sure to register early! \nWe can’t wait to see you there for an afternoon of cricket\, community and fun! \nFAQs \nMy child / children would like to participate in the cricket workshop. What do I need to do\, and is it free? \nYes it is free! But you MUST register. Click on the Register button on this page and provide us with your child / children’s details. Once registered\, we will send you a confirmation email with your ticket(s). Make sure you bring your ticket(s) along with you on the day and make your way to the check-in area at the Peet tent. If registrations are SOLD OUT\, you can still come along to enjoy the family activities. \nAre there age requirements to participate in the cricket workshop? \nYes\, participants of the cricket workshop must be between 6 – 13 years old\, with all abilities welcome. Just make sure you register your child / children. \nPeople of all ages can get involved in the FREE Community Fan Day activities happening at Honeycomb Park on the day – and there is no need to register for the Community Fan Day activities! \nWhat time do I need to arrive? \nRegistered participants of the cricket workshop need to arrive between 4:30pm – 5:00pm to check in. Please make sure you have your ticket(s) and make your way to the Peet tent where your child / children will receive their wrist band and will be sorted into groups. The cricket workshop will begin at 5:00pm. If you are just coming along for the Community Fan Day activities\, the fun begins at 4:30pm and finishes at 7:30pm. \nIMPORTANT: Our event day schedule is as follows: \n• 4:30pm – 4:50pm – Perth Scorchers players signing autographs* \n• 5:00pm – Cricket workshop starts (please arrive beforehand to check in) \n• 6:30pm – Cricket workshop finishes \n• 7:30pm – Community Fan Day activities conclude \nDoes my child / children need to bring any equipment to participate in the cricket workshop? \nNo equipment is needed.
