It can also be an artistic practice that promotes mindfulness\, allowing us to slow down in a busy world. \nJoin us in the CoGLAB at Amherst Village Library on Friday the 20th of March\, for Slow Stitch Boro Bookmarks with Monique Mulligan. \nIn this 2-hour workshop\, attendees will learn about Boro stitching\, a traditional Japanese sustainable mending technique\, often used to repair worn clothing. Using boro\, participants will create a patchwork bookmark to take home with them. \nAdults only. Bookings are essential\, and open to the public from the 6th of March.
