Osborne Park Library: In Person Body Double/Productivity sessions

“Body doubling is a tool some adults use to help them start and complete projects. Sometimes referred to as an accountability partner, it is a technique for better productivity. A body double is a friend or partner who works simultaneously, either in the same room or virtually through videochat platforms.”
Please let me know via private message or in comments if you want to join my Body Doubling Pals Facebook group chat for accountability and for general connection. I also have a 24/7 Zoom link for anyone who wants to jump on as a tool – I jump on at around 6:30PM every Monday for a specific session. Let me know if you would like that too.
Who’s keen for some body doubling/productivity sessions? Have you got some stuff to do that you’ve really struggled to get done, or just need a bit of a boost and momentum? Join me!
Due to the success of the previous sessions, I have decided to continue popping over to Osborne Park Library to get some stuff done and wanted to invite you all (and anyone else) to join me. For a minimum of 1hr (unless in an unexpected situation which I will notify you about), I will be there from Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 3PM.
You are welcome to come earlier or later and it will be inside so please note the intention is to do this quietly. If you need a break or need to chat for whatever reason, you are welcome to step outside or do your session outdoors.
Please note that the end times are the hours the library is open and is not indicative of how long we will be there for. You get to decide how long you stay.
I will post where I am situated each session and what I am wearing. It would be helpful if you can RSVP or message me if you’re planning to come so I can decide an optimal location. I will try to keep this set up as consistent as possible. If you arrive earlier, please inform your location if you can as well. Thanks!
There are bathrooms, parking underneath, and public transport nearby along with a few places to eat within walking distance.
Please note this is shared with other friend making & neurodivergent groups online so there may be others from other groups and platforms attending.
There is no expectation to engage with anyone or even sit with me/us however if you would like some further accountability, I will have paper there where you can write your goals down and you can also private message me or put it in the group what you want to achieve from the sessions.
As per any event or social interaction you attend, please maintain a respectful and open minded approach to these things. There is a zero tolerance for disrespectful & harmful behaviour. This is designed as a tool to assist you in your tasks and time management and if it doesn’t help, or you are uncomfortable for some reason, inform me (or the admins) or don’t attend. Thanks!
