Saving Our Snake Necked Turtle Workshop

We’ve teamed up with Murdoch University and the South West Metropolitan Alliance for the Saving Our Snake Necked Turtle (SOSNT) project.
The event begins with an informative Turtle Talk followed by interactive Turtle Tracker training.
Come along to learn about turtles, the SOSNT project, hear the latest research and contribute to crucial citizen science as a ‘Turtle Tracker’, to help protect nesting females and their nests, just by using your smartphone and the TurtleSAT app.
Join a network of citizen scientists across the turtle’s range making a real difference to this species under threat.
Suitable for wildlife enthusiasts of all ages.
Free however bookings are essential.
