Finding Your Voice with Gillian Clark

In this workshop, you will: • Learn the use of effective phrasing and pauses • Explore breathing, articulation, resonance and projection • Become comfortable with microphone technique • Discover the art of active listening to aid your delivery • Develop a toolkit for ongoing vocal strength and vibrancy Date: Saturday, 20 June 2026 Time: 1:00pm – 3:00pm Tickets: $25 KSP Members, $40 Non-members What to Bring: A notebook and pen (or however you like to take notes) and highlighters Writers are encouraged to bring a current writing piece to work on. Access and Parking at KSP: Address: 11 Old York Road, Greenmount WA 6056 There is a small on-site carpark to the right of the main house. If that fills up, there is also ample verge and street parking along Old York Road. For overflow parking, please follow the long gravel driveway immediately to the left of the main house. This leads to a larger parking area behind the property. Please drive slowly and arrive ten minutes early to allow time to park and settle in. Tips: The centre is accessed via Old York Road, as you approach, look for the wooden “Katharine’s Place” plaque and the bright green letterbox. If parking in the street, be mindful of any local parking restrictions or signage. There is a bus stop on Old York Road (and also accessible via Great Eastern Highway) for those considering public transport.
