Roleystone Theatre presents 'A Streetcar Named Desire', a classic play that explores characters desperately holding on to what they need while everything around them falls apart.
The show explores the interplay between the main characters of Blanche DuBois, who goes to visit her sister Stella, and Stella’s husband Stanley who doesn’t trust Blanche… and the feeling is mutual.
Written and directed to find the emotional truth of every moment, it's messy, heartbreaking, sometimes uncomfortable, and deeply human. It's still incredibly relevant today, despite being a 'classic' that premiered in 1947.
