Author Talk with Lisa Marino

August 26 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

1950s Western Australia. A lost relic. A buried past. One discovery on the remote Abrolhos Islands that changes everything.

Celebrate Love to Read Local Month at your local library, and learn from a WA author.

Join us at Thornlie Library for an intimate Author Talk with recently published local writer, Lisa M Marino. Attendees will enjoy a reading from Lisa’s new historical fiction novel “The Shearwater’s Song”, followed by a Q&A about her writing. The event will include an introduction by Adriaan de Jong, prominent WA translator, researcher, and Dutch maritime history expert.
