Join authors Barb Hostalek and Valerie Swift for a conversation about Worlds Within a World, moderated by Nandi Chinna. How do you inhabit multiple worlds at the same time? Five First Nations women show what it is like to navigate challenges and deprivations while staying connected to Country and the world’s oldest living culture. Through personal stories and reflections, the panel will explore themes of identity, culture, family, resilience and belonging and discuss the experience of contributing to this powerful collection of memoir and life writing.
Patrons can expect an engaging discussion followed by an audience Q&A session. No prior reading is required. Suitable for adults and young adults interested in First Nations stories, memoir and contemporary Australian writing.
