Over four monthly sessions, you’ll learn the basics of sewing while creating your own lined tote bag, similar to the one pictured.
Perfect for beginners, this hands-on workshop will guide you through:
– Setting up and using a sewing machine
– Basic sewing techniques and skills
– Understanding fabrics and construction
– Adding pockets and other features
– Creating handles and finishing touches
What to bring: Please bring a towel, tablecloth, tea towel, or a length of sturdy fabric to start your project, recycled and upcycled fabrics are encouraged. BYO sewing machine, or use one of ours.
No prior sewing experience required. All skill levels are welcome.
