Our Community Open Day is all about showcasing everything Doubleview has to offer and introducing a new generation to the club in a fun, relaxed and family-friendly environment.
Whether you’re already part of the club or have never set foot on a bowling green, everyone is welcome. S
Get involved across all three of our sporting communities throughout the day:
- Lawn bowls: Have a go at lawn bowls, with activities and competitions designed for both kids and newcomers.
- Darts: The Doubleview Darts Club will be running competitions throughout the day, with prizes and support from their existing sponsors.
- Pool: Our Pool Club will be running a fun tournament, with prize packs and prizes from local beer brands up for grabs.
There’ll be plenty to eat and drink throughout the day, with Jujube Dining and Mesa both in the kitchen as well as local food van vendors such as Petal & Pours, Mumma J’s Bakery, Funky Fruit Ice Creamery, Skewerz and La Saison serving up a range of options. You’ll also be able to discover new drinks and enjoy tastings and activities from a range of local and Australian distilleries, wineries and breweries, including Archie Rose, Leisure State, Jimmy Rum, Pa Road, Mr. Mick, Hay Shed Hill, Millbrook Estate, Idle Hands Cocktails, Found Brewing and Margaret River Beer Co.
We’re making sure the kids are well looked after with a dedicated activity area on C Green featuring:
- Jumping castle
- Face painting
- Bubble entertainer
- Balloon artist
- Kids’ bowling activities
- Plenty of space to run-a-muck!
Explore mini markets throughout the club featuring local makers, small businesses and community organisations. It’s a chance to discover something new, support local and meet some of the people and organisations that make our community great.
Enjoy DJ entertainment throughout the afternoon with Lou La La on the Patio, creating the perfect backdrop for a few drinks, something to eat and a day out with friends and family. Bring the kids, bring your mates, bring the dog and come see what Doubleview is all about.
