Come along to William Bertram Community Centre on Saturday, 29th August where you can bring up to 7 in near new or good condition items to swap. The tables will be set up from 9am so come along pop your items on the display and enjoy a cuppa and chat ready for Swapping Stations to open to one and all from 10am til 1pm For any remaining items you are welcome to take home any not swapped or donate and Shazz the host of the event will ensure they find new homes through a number of second life shops she engages with If you are unsure what to Swap anything along the lines of Kitchenware – Pots & Pans – Casseroles, Serving Dishes & Platters, Glassware, Home Decor Pieces We are not offering Linen, Toys, Books, Electrical Goods, Clothing, Shoes, Bags or Jewellery for this one they may be organised at a later date. We need community support to see if this is something to host on a regular basis and please know that all this is a community led initiative so we appreciate your support in contributing with items or simply coming along to help out. Even if you haven’t got anything to swap please come and have a look and once the swapping is done and dusted we’ll offer items remaining for a gold coin donation to be put to good use in purchasing tea/coffee supplies to support our Befriend hosted Pop Up Community Lounges.
