Sonic Pilgrims by David Richardson invites you on a self-guided audio walk through a familiar public space, transforming an everyday shopping centre into an immersive listening experience- part map, part ritual, part ecological fiction.
Using your own smartphone and headphones, you’ll follow a mapped trail where different sounds are triggered as you move. Discover recordings of Western Australian coastlines and forests, ambient music, archival audio and personal stories, encouraging you to slow down, listen closely and see a familiar place in a new way.
