Ever wanted to try the pottery wheel? This workshop gives participants the chance to sit down at the wheel and learn the basics of throwing clay.
You will be shown the key techniques before being guided through centring the clay and shaping simple forms such as cups or bowls. It’s a hands-on and engaging experience, and beginners are very welcome.
There are two session dates available. Each session is $10 for City of Belmont Residents, and $15 for Non-City of Belmont Residents.
All clay, wheels, and tools are provided. Participants should wear comfortable clothes.

At this Pottery Night, Belmont Potters Group will help you turn a simple lump of clay into something uniquely yours a bowl, plate, or something sculptural.
