We’re honoured to welcome Dr Kallyani Ponniah, Consultant Breast & General Surgeon based at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, as our special guest speaker. Dr Ponniah is a Specialist General Surgeon who focuses on breast disease and cancer. She also takes care of those at high risk of developing breast cancer either because of personal or family history. She has been operating in this field for over 15 years.
Dr Ponniah will discuss the latest advances in cancer research and her team’s multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and treatment.
Sam Williams, a nurse from the McGrath Foundation, will also give a brief presentation about the invaluable support she provides and the important role she plays within the team.
