16 Days in WA: Safe Tech Safe Women
During the “16 Days in WA Play Your Part” campaign, SCALES Community Legal Centre will be delivering several outreach community legal educational sessions. Utilizing pop-up locations throughout the cities of Rockingham and Kwinana, the “Safe Tech, Safe Women” program will connect with local residents to increase awareness of family, domestic, and sexual violence, with a special emphasis on abuse facilitated by technology. The outreach aims to equip individuals with knowledge about using technology safely, identifying digital abuse, and accessing available support services. SCALES staff will be on hand to provide information and distribute resources. “Safe Tech, Safe Women” underscores SCALES CLC’s steadfast dedication to fostering safety, respect, and justice within the community.
