Creative Morning Tea Picnic at Victoria Gardens, East Perth (18+)
December 7, 2024 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Join us for a morning tea picnic filled with creativity, sharing, and good company at Victoria Gardens, East Perth!
🌼 When: Saturday, 12th October at 10:30 AM
🌼 Where: Victoria Gardens, East Perth (put Victoria Gardens Public Toilets in maps)
Grab your favorite tea, snack, and a cozy blanket/cushion/chair, and come share your interests with a friendly bunch of like-minded individuals! Bring along your hobbies, crafts, Lego, books, or anything that sparks your joy. There is also space to bring a ball to kick around if that is your thing! This is a warm and welcoming space for everyone, including those who are neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+. Bring your friends or come solo!
Feel free to bring along anything you’d like to share, whether it’s a plate of goodies, drinks, or materials! Just a friendly reminder that you’ll be responsible for anything you bring, including cleanup and organization. We’d love to hear what you’re planning to bring!
Let’s connect, create, and celebrate our unique passions together! We can’t wait to see you there! 🌈✨
Weather Plan:
☁️ I’ll be keeping an eye on the weather leading up to the event. If it’s not picnic weather, I will make a reservation at Kinky Lizard Expresso Bar, East Perth. Keep an eye out for updates!
Getting there:
🚗 Free street parking available on Brook Street ([https://maps.app.goo.gl/nF615QXp1PkozpYS7](https://maps.app.goo.gl/nF615QXp1PkozpYS7)), some other street parking in the area, or CPP parking at the location ([https://www.cityofperthparking.com.au/victoria-gardens](https://www.cityofperthparking.com.au/victoria-gardens)) otherwise public transport is nearby (Red Cat bus or Claisebrook train station)
RSVP:
✉️ Please message me or comment to let me know if you’re coming. If you’re feeling nervous or uncertain, don’t hesitate to reach out – I’m here to help and make sure you feel right at home!
Important Notes:
🌟 This event is shared across other making friends, queer and neurodivergent-friendly platforms in Perth, including Facebook, so there might be a mix of new faces. The group size is usually around 20 people maximum, but is generally smaller at the moment. Will keep numbers updates in the comments if it appears bigger for this one.
Please ensure all attendees are 18+, and kindly leave your pets at home to keep everyone comfortable (some members may have allergies). And please keep your RSVPs updated, thank you!
⏰ Please arrive on time or let me know if you’ll be more than 15 minutes late or can’t make it.
Looking forward to seeing you soon! 💕
