At this interactive workshop, Laura will provide recipes to help you reduce food waste, including:
- Carrot top pesto
- Celery leaf pesto
- Quick pickled veg
- Scrappy stock
- Citrus peel vinegar
- Scrappy fruit syrup
- Scrappy fruit kvass
- Apple cider vinegar
- Banana peel cake (sample only)
- Coffee body scrub
You’ll also learn more about effective food storage techniques️ and develop a deeper understanding of what you can do at home to reduce food waste.

Laura Monisse is a passionate sustainability educator, workshop facilitator and former yoga teacher. With a background in Population Health, Integrated Design, Waste Management and Adult Education, she brings her expertise and experience to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
