Managing Garden Pests

$7Come along to this workshop to learn about integrated pest management from Fiona of Gaia Permaculture.
This workshop will consider everything we need to take into account for dealing with those pests – from understanding seasonal pests, creating healthy soil for healthy plants who can cope better with pests, what are beneficial insects and how to encourage them plus basics of companion planting and crop rotation. You will leave armed with some information that means you’ll get more of your produce and give less to pests!

Event activities will start on time, but if you are running late, you may still join.
Location
Inside in Binjar Room and outside in the Piney Lakes Community Garden
Requirements
Clothing suitable to be outdoors in.
Adult workshop space – Guests are expected to follow instructions of the program facilitator, be respectful at all times and assume responsibility for their own safety. This workshop is not suitable for children.
