Bushfire Community Day 2025

DFES is proud to bring the successful Bushfire Community Day back to the Perth Hills in collaboration with the Shire of Mundaring.

Join us at the Mundaring Arean on Sunday 12 October 2025 between 10am and 3pm. This family-friendly event is designed to cater to everyone, including your furry friends!

Located amid the trees, the Mundaring Arena is a modern sports facility that stands as a shining gem and a point of pride for the Shire of Mundaring. This versatile venue includes a vast range of indoor and outdoor spaces, making it the ideal location to host this year’s Bushfire Community Day.

Don’t miss out on the chance to meet DFES staff and local Bushfire Brigades and have fun learning how to prepare your home and family for the upcoming bushfire season. Through informative displays, demonstrations and interactive exhibits, the event is the perfect opportunity for DFES and partners to share valuable information to boost your bushfire preparedness efforts.

Alongside the day’s activities, you’ll also be able to browse a variety of market stalls featuring local makers, creators, small businesses and community groups.
