I recently popped into the Rowing Pavilion in Mount Pleasant for a quick caffeine fix. I’d heard a lot of buzz online since it opened and I have to say, the place was buzzing!

The views from the elevated deck, over the Canning River are just stunning. The Rowing Pavilion has got a really lively vibe with plenty of high tables, making it a great spot to soak up the atmosphere on a sunny day.

If you’re just passing through like I was, they have a selection of pastries to grab and go.

I grabbed a table for one and enjoyed a flat white. I can confirm that the coffee is top-notch.

For those looking to stay a bit longer, they offer a small but tasty breakfast menu, think eggs your way and bagels. I noticed their lunch menu is packed with gluten-free options, which is always a win for me.

It’s also very dog-friendly, so it’s the perfect place to pair with a gentle morning stroll along the riverbank. Found just over Canning Bridge, there is a paid car park next door, which gets very busy. I’ll definitely be back to try a proper sit-down meal next time!
