This boutique coffee roasting house is designed with coffee lovers in mind and has a warm inviting vibe, whilst feeling like you are on the Academy floor and part of the brewing action!

Follow the interesting journey of the coffee bean from harvesting, processing, roasting and drinking! You can enjoy a mini course and learn more about the processes, or just enjoy perusing with your cup of choice!They offer a unique coffee tasting experience with Yahava team members, which on this day was very popular indeed! If you would prefer to just get straight to the good stuff, there is plenty on offer at the cafe and if coffee is not your brew of choice there is a huge range of herbal teas to choose from. We ordered some sweet treats from the cabinet of which there was a great choice and plenty of options for those with intolerance’s.While we waited we meandered through the lovely gift section that had a huge selection of all things coffee, tea and some gorgeous gifts for friends, family or to treat yourself!Plenty of seating both indoors and out and even though it seems a little dark inside, the space feels open and alive with so much going on. There are plenty of tables under cover in the outdoor alfresco area and a few tables scattered around across the grass.The views are lovely with some play equipment for children to enjoy and plenty of space to run around, even a nice hill for rolling down!The service was fantastic, nothing was too difficult for the staff and our order of coffees and cake came out promptly and presented beautifully. If you are on the run exploring the region, they also have a drive thru with plenty on offer for those on the go. A must do when exploring the gorgeous Swan Valley.

I am 67 years of age and retired. I was born and bred in Perth but now live with my husband, Michael, in Albany, Western Australia. We have four children and six grandchildren. I have always enjoyed sports but my passion was basketball in which I played and attained State level. I coached at both junior and senior levels. I was also the team manager for the Perth Quit Breakers (now known as the Perth Lynx) for many years and was on the Board of the WA Basketball Association. I worked for Woodside Energy for 19 years before transferring to Darwin with my husband, also a Woodsider, who took up management of the Northern Territory operations of the company. I was the Private Secretary to the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory Govt. during my time there before retiring. My husband and I then travelled around Australia in a caravan for a year before finally settling for a seachange in Albany. We built a house at beautiful Goode Beach, joined the Albany Golf Club and started to explore our surrounds. We have made many friends since arriving in Albany and family and friends from near and far enjoy visiting and experiencing our part of the world. We are heavily involved in the Golf Club which keeps us busy. I enjoy reading, wining, dining, good friends and still love to travel both here in Oz and overseas.
