Armchair Travel at the Library
From the comfort of a chair, travel with us around the world through the use of virtual reality thanks to SilVR.
Each session will start with a 20-minute introduction video that each new participant must watch once, followed by a guided tour of a selected location around the world.
A new location will be selected every month and each session will finish with a cup of tea related to the chosen location.
During April, we will be exploring the diverse landscapes of Portugal. From the Algarve’s sunny beaches to Lisbon’s historic districts, discover rich culture, beautiful nature and historic sites like castles.
Bookings are essential and will open Tuesday 10 March. Suitable for ages 18+.
