Tech, tea and treats – How to use government websites

June 26 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join us at Subiaco Library on the last Friday of the month to learn something new about technology and online safety.

Join us at Subiaco Library for Tech, Tea and Treats; where you can enjoy a cup of tea and some sweet treats, hear an educational talk about a specific tech related topic each month, then stay after the talk where our friendly staff are available to offer some one-on-one tech help for your mobile phone or tablet.

How to use government websites

From news and weather to health warnings and essential government services, there is so much useful information available on Australian government websites. The best part is, it’s free to access.

The BeConnected talk topics covered include:

  • Which government websites might benefit you
  • How to set up a MyGov account
  • How to link other government services to your MyGov account
  • How to keep your personal details safe and secure

Join this session for a demonstration of how to use these resources, then stay behind afterwards for some one-on-one assistance to get you started on your mobile phone or tablet.
