Harnessing self-awareness to navigate difficult conversations

When you are a caring and supportive person you want to help others but may be unsure of whether you are doing too much or not enough. This course aims to assist you to develop an awareness of your strengths, values and boundaries and the role they play in your work/life role. We will then use this information to assist you to grow in confidence and capacity to have safe, meaningful and supportive conversations with others on a range of tough subjects, whilst keeping yourself and others feeling safe and supported.

We will look at:

  • identifying strengths in yourself and others
  • assessing your motivational values and how they impact our work/life roles
  • exploring your personal and professional boundaries, and signs of boundary concerns
  • empathy awareness and how to use empathy to support others via Emotion Coaching
  • building confidence in how to best respond to a person in need of support
  • discovering a range of support services to assist

  • light lunch provided.
