Interactive End-of-Life Planning Workshop

August 8 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free

Dying to Know Day is a national initiative that encourages Australians to have meaningful conversations about end-of-life planning, legacy and what matters most to them.

While death is a part of life, many people find it difficult to discuss their wishes with family and loved ones. This workshop provides a welcoming and respectful environment to explore thee important topics, learn about available options, and consider how planning ahead can support both ourselves and those we care about.

Through a guided and interactive exercise, participants will reflect on their personal experiences of loss, change and grief. Using storytelling and a life timeline activity, attendees will explore key life stages and consider how these experiences have influenced their values, perspectives and understanding of life’s journey.

This session is designed to encourage thoughtful conversation, personal reflection and greater confidence in discussing end- of- life maters.

This workshop will continue the conversations on the following topics:

  • Planning ahead: important documents and decisions

  • Living with a terminal illness

  • Planning for death at home

  • Reflective end of life planning

  • Funeral and memorial choices

Please note, this is a small workshop with a maximum of 25 people attending. Please ensure to only book if you can definitely attend.
