Brendan will share insights into common metropolitan birds and the best places to spot them across Wanneroo, including how to identify local bird species!
With more than 30 years of volunteer experience, including survey work for Bush Heritage and the Australian Wildlife Conservancy, he brings deep local knowledge to beginner bird identification and birdwatching. The talk will also touch on local birding spots and species under threat in Western Australia.
After the talk, there will be short 15-minute break followed by a one-hour walk around Broadview park & lake, to experience birding in the great outdoors.
