Workshop Camera Club

The Workshop Camera Club meets every Wednesday night at 7:30PM. Meetings are held at the Canning Arts Centre on the corner of High Road and Riley Road, Riverton from the end of January until the end of November each year.

The first Wednesday of each month is an Exhibition night at which members’ projected and printed photographs are judged by either an internal or an external judge. There is a nominated Subject for each exhibition and members are allowed to submit a print and a digital image in both the Subject and Open categories.

Other meetings are typically workshops, feature guest speakers or photographic presentations by club members. The club has a ceiling-mounted state of the art projector plus 4 metre screen. Meetings typically last 60–90 minutes and are followed by tea/coffee, biscuits and informal talk – a good way to learn and meet like-minded people.

Visitors are welcome to attend up to three meetings with no obligation to join the club. International visitors are especially welcome!
