Finding a local camera club is one of the best ways to learn about photography and meet fellow photographers.
Most camera clubs have regular meetings at local libraries, coffee shops, parks, or dedicated photo venues. These can also be great places to learn photography from others who might be more experienced than you are and get hands-on time with different types of cameras and lenses.
With so many digital cameras available today, finding a camera club that focuses on film cameras may seem more challenging than it should be. However, there are still plenty of places you can go to get the help you need to get started with your own photo interests.
The Workshop Camera Club meets every Wednesday night at 7:30PM. Meetings are held at the Canning Arts Centre on the corner of High Road and Riley Road, Riverton from the end of January until the end of November each year.
