WAWRC is a representative and support body for wildlife rehabilitators in Western Australia. As the peak body, we aim to support of wildlife rehabilitators in WA to achieve the best outcomes for native fauna. We aim to engage wildlife rehabilitators and the WA community in an inclusive partnership to benefit of native fauna.
The starting point for anyone interested in becoming involved in wildlife care is to begin volunteering with a wildlife rehabilitation group.
All wildlife volunteers must be over 16 years old,
If, after some weeks, you decide wildlife rehabilitation is for you, you should then consider attending some formal training sessions.
