Perth Mango Farm in Nowergup kicks off its 2025 mango picking season on Saturday, February 22nd, from 9am – 6pm, continuing through Sunday. This pesticide and insecticide-free farm, located at 4 Dayrell Road (entry via Wattle Ave West), provides a wonderful opportunity for families to experience picking fresh, juicy mangoes straight from the tree.
The 2025 season is expected to be shorter than usual, so early visits are recommended. Entry fees are reasonably priced at $10 for those 10 years and over, $5 for children under 10, with free entry for little ones under 2 years. The mangoes are priced at $12.00/kg when picked from the orchard.
The farm provides a well-organized picking experience, with disposable gloves to protect against mango sap and picking sticks for reaching higher branches. One of the highlights is the ability to taste-test mangoes while picking – perfect for those who appreciate fresh, quality produce. For those who prefer not to pick their own, pre-picked mangoes are usually available in the shed, though these tend to sell out quickly.
The farm maintains accessible facilities including parking and toilets. However, visitors should note that strollers, chairs, and trolleys are not permitted in the orchard. Convenient picnic facilities are available at tables outside the orchard area, making it an ideal spot for a family gathering after picking.
