Fremantle Aquatic Centre

The Fremantle Leisure Centre is open all year round and offers a range of health and fitness programs including learn to swim and group fitness classes. The centre boasts four heated swimming pools, a gym, café, crèche, training room and swim shop all located on 3.5 hectares of open grassed space. Memberships are available.

Aquatic Centre

50 metre pool

• our outdoor 50 metre pool consists of eight lap lanes and ranges in depth from 1.05m at the shallow end to 1.8m at the deep end
• water temperature ranges from 26 to 28 degrees depending on weather and season
• at any one time, there is always a minimum of three lanes available for recreational swimming.

25 metre pool

•     our undercover 25 metre pool consists of eight lap lanes and ranges in depth from 1.05m  to 1.10m
•     water temperature is maintained between 28 to 30 degrees
•     at any one time, there is always a minimum of two lanes available for recreational swimming.

Accessibility

The Fremantle Leisure Centre is a fully accessible facility. The 25m, 50m and leisure pool are equipped with access ramps. We also have junior and senior aquatic (waterproof) wheelchairs that may be used at any time. All pools can be accessed with a chairlift hoist if required (please advise in advance or allow time for set up if you require this service).  The centre also has three disability change rooms, one of which is equipped with a battery operated hoist/sling to assist in showering and changing.

Fitness Centre

Work out in the fully equipped fitness centre on state of the art cardio and strength equipment including:

• treadmills
• upright and recumbent stationary bicycles
• rowing machines
• cybex pin-loaded strength machines.

Or join one of the many group fitness and aquafit classes on offer every day.

Keep fit and stay healthy with an all inclusive leisure centre membership. This includes access to the fitness centre, all pools, any fitness or aqua fit classes and the creche. Qualified exercise professionals are available to help you with your exercise program.
