The annual Mandurah Readers & Writers Festival aims to bring readers together with authors and engage in conversations around books. The festival is pleased to present established and upcoming WA Authors in Author Talks, Panel Discussions, Meet the Authors and at the Annual Pyjama Party.

Digital Hub
The Digital Hub provides assistance and training with technology in a variety of regular activities. Learn how to use your computer, laptop, tablet, smart phone and more. Training is done in small groups, or you can book a one on one session to specifically address your needs.
Technology Tea for Seniors
Join the libraries tech-savvy staff for morning tea and advice about technology. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to experts, with tech ranging from computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones and downloading library eBooks, eAudio books and downloadable magazines. Please make sure to bring in your own devices and we will talk about all things tech.
Library Knitters
Bring your knitting needles and hooks and join the Library Knitters for a relaxing afternoon of sharing skills and afternoon tea.
Heartfelt Sewing
The group meets to work on hand sewing projects led by local sewing teacher Kerry Davies.
Sewing Club
Work with like minded people or get help from sewing teacher Kerry Davies during Sewing Club.
No experience or materials necessary, but feel free to bring projects along if you have them. Have any left over fabric or thread? Donations are welcome and very much appreciated for Sewing Club!
Sewing Drop In
Drop in to the Falcon FabLab and use the sewing machines or overlocker.
English Conversation Classes
Free classes run each week. Everyone is welcome. Come along, practise your English and make some new friends! A different topic will be covered each week.
Games Club
An informal games club where you can play a variety of board games, have a chat and meet like-minded locals. Everyone is welcome.
Chess Knights
Playing and learning chess is a great strategy based game for people of all ages to take part in.
Book Clubs
The Mandurah Libraries collection features over 100 Book Club sets. Each Book Club set includes 10 copies of the book and several book reviews. With fiction and non-fiction titles in a range of genres, there are lots of options to keep any book club busy!
Join one of the book clubs that meet in one of the three library branches or start your own private Book Club! Each Book Club set is borrowed for $25 per book club with a maximum of 10 members per group.

Work Experience
Need to gain some experience in the work force? Mandurah Libraries offer work experience for students in Year 10 to Year 12, and TAFE students. Work placement positions are available for students in Year 11 and 12.
FabLab Makerspace
The FabLab is a makerspace at the Falcon eLibrary and Community Centre where you can learn how to use the 3D printer, sewing machines, electronics and programming or share your skills with others.
Local Creatives
Local Creatives is a series of monthly workshops for creative people in Mandurah. Local businesses run presentations or workshops to teach new skills and provide insight into their experience in the small business industry. Check out the calendar to find the next event!
