Ruth Falkner Library – City of Belmont

Belmont Interest Group (B.I.G.) is for adults of all ages where you can relax and enjoy good company. Listen to guest speakers and presenters and join in discussions about people, places, events and contemporary issues.

If you have an interest in reading and enjoy discussing books in good company, you are most welcome to come along. The book club features occasional guest speakers, poetry, short story discussions, a fun quiz or two, author profiles and lots more. Each meeting is followed by afternoon tea.
When: First Wednesday of each month, 2pm to 3pm.

2018 Sessions: 7 February to 5 December. Note: 5 December session is held from 12:30pm to 2pm.

The League of Extraordinary Knitters

An informal knitting circle to knit, share patterns, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and make new friends.
When: Fortnightly on Tuesdays, 10am to 12noon.

Retro Games – Get on Board!

For anyone aged 18+ who enjoys playing traditional board games such as Scrabble and Monopoly.
When: Fortnightly on Wednesdays, 10am to 11:30am.

Retro Games – Mahjong!

For anyone aged 18+ who enjoys playing Mahjong, a Chinese tile game of skill, strategy, calculation and a little luck. Traditional board games are also available during the session.
When: Fortnightly on Wednesdays, 10am to 11:30am.
