The Knowledge Centre

Knowledge Centre stocks around 42,000 items, provides access to many resources and offers various services and programs for adults, children, and teens  throughout the year.

Book Club at your library

Adults who love reading and like to chat about the latest book they’ve read will enjoy the monthly Book Club sessions held at each library. Books may be borrowed from the library or members can supply their own.

Sessions run on the second Monday of each month, 1.00 – 3.30pm. If this time doesn’t suit you, there are alternative sessions available at our other libraries.

Charity Chums at Knowledge Centre

Knit, crochet or do patchwork for various charities. Help those less fortunate and meet new people with similar interests. Patterns for different skill levels will be provided. Please bring your own needles, wool and fabric.

Sessions run on the first and third Mondays of each month, 10am – noon.

Fees: Free morning tea is included.

Colour Me Happy

When: First and third Wednesday of the month from 1pm – 3pm

Join the newest craze – adult colouring-in is a fun, relaxing way to de-stress and unwind after a busy month.

Colouring is the newest craze taking the world by storm. Take time out to relax, de-stress and get creative with like-minded people. Coloured pencils and intricate themed designs will be provided or bring your own supplies. This program is for adults only.

Fees: Free. Refreshments and materials will be provided.

Creative Inspirations

When: Fourth Tuesday of each month, 10.30am – noon.

Do you enjoy art and craft activities? Do you like to learn new techniques? Come along and get creative! Join us each month to socialise, learn new craft skills, and share any crafty hidden talents. Contact the venue for more information.

Games Club

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am – 1pm

Enjoy playing Scrabble, cards and more? Adults are welcome to test their game skills in these fun drop in sessions.

Gosnells Discusion Group

When: Fourth Friday of every month, 1 – 3pm

Sit down and have a lively chat with others on new topics each month. Discuss a range of subjects from the latest television series to current news events and more with a friendly group.

When: Third Saturday of each month, 2pm – 3pm
