Books on Wheels
The Town of Victoria Park Library offers its Books on Wheels service to residents and their carers living within the Town who are physically unable to visit the library (conditions apply). You need to become a library member in order to access the delivery service.
Contact the library to speak to the library officer in charge of the Books on Wheels delivery service.
Deck chairs
Want to chill out in the park and read? The library has deck chairs available for members to borrow to use in John Macmillan Park for one day use only and must be returned during library opening hours.
Library book clubs
The library has two book clubs that meet monthly. If you are not a member of one of the library’s book clubs but you have previously read the current book for that month and would like to join in the discussion, you are welcome to come along to the meeting.
When: First Thursday and Saturday of the month
Time:Â 6.30pm (Thursday) and 1.30pm (Saturday)

Family history group
Want to research your family history but don’t know where to start? Then come along to the library’s monthly Family history group.
Library members have access to Ancestry.com library edition via the public computers and our family historian will be on hand to help you get started or to fill in the gaps.
When: Third Tuesday of the month (except February which will be the third Thursday).
Time: Choose between either 9.30am – 11am; 11am – 12.30pm or 1pm – 2.30pm
Cost: Free, bookings are essential
Tech savvy workshop
Join us for our Tech savvy workshops which will teach you how to get the most out of your digital devices (Apple and Android), as well as how to use the library’s digital collection and online e-resources.
When: Last Saturday of every month
Time: 10am – 12noon
