The biggest example of galleries in Western Australia is the Art Gallery of WA. This occupies a precinct of three heritage buildings in the Perth Cultural Centre. The Gallery houses the State Art Collection. This includes one of the world’s finest collections of Indigenous art, the pre-eminent collection of Western Australian art and design, in addition to Australian and International art and design.
Similarly, another example is the Heathcote Museum & Gallery. This is located within the historic Heathcote Cultural Precinct. This gallery hosts regular exhibitions from local artists, as well as a museum detailing the history of the Heathcote site. With a playground also available within the grounds, why not enjoy an exhibition with your grandchildren or meet up with the family afterwards?
Likewise, there is the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery.
