Knitting at Libraries in Perth:
Our Seniorocity guide has you covered with ideas for Places to Go in Perth. Find libraries with knitting groups in your area, including classes, community groups and much more!
For instance, why not join a knitting group in your local area? Share your current project and meet other creative people. Groups welcome beginnings if you’re keen to learn to knit or crochet.
For example, if you enjoy meeting up with other knitters / crocheters to stitch and chat, then join one of Cockburn Libraries friendly groups. Learn new techniques, exchange ideas or find inspiration for your next project. There are Knitting Circles at all three Cockburn Libraries. Â Sessions are free. New people are always welcome.
Similarly, Thornlie Library host Sit and Knit. Bring in your latest knitting or crochet project and join in the fun. Free help is available, but the main focus is on fun and socialising. Bring your own needles, wool and half-finished projects to complete in company. Refreshments will be provided.
