Aboriginal Elders Portrait Exhibition

May 27 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 9:00 am, repeating until June 5, 2024

Free
In 2023, the City of Stirling commissioned Noongar photographer Cole Baxter to take a series of digital portraits of Aboriginal Elders within our community. Capturing their images and stories, the exhibition provides an opportunity to highlight the important and prominent role our Elders play as our knowledge holders, our teachers, our advocates, our leaders and our loved ones.
The Exhibition will be available for viewing during National Reconciliation Week at both Osborne and Scarborough libraries.
Stirling Libraries – Osborne (9 Royal Street Tuart Hill)
Stirling Libraries – Scarborough (173 Gildercliffe Street Scarborough)
Please see the City’s website for library opening times. Please note the exhibition will be split across both libraries and will feature different portraits at each library.
